Doris Roberts Stefferud was a dedicated educator who began her teaching career in Loudoun County, Virginia in 1947. Over the course of her eleven years in the county, she taught a variety of subjects, including history and English, at multiple schools. Mrs. Stefferud received positive ratings in punctuality, cooperation, growth, and general attitude during her time as a teacher. Prior to teaching in Loudoun County, she had two years of teaching experience in Audubon and Berry, Iowa. Unfortunately, Mrs. Stefferud passed away on March 4, 1958, after teaching for 42 school months in the county.
