Peggy Jean Halsey, a white female born on June 21, 1936, was a teacher in Loudoun County, Virginia in the late 1950s. She held a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Radford College, where she graduated in 1957. Halsey taught Science and Vocational Home Economics at Loudoun County Home Economics School during the 1957-58 school year, for which she received a salary of $3456. She was rated as good in terms of punctuality, cooperation, growth and success, as well as attitude by her supervisors. Halsey demonstrated a professional demeanor and unused sick leave of just 1 day during the school year.
